Again, the industry-standard fee is calculated based on the distance and other factors of the return transport. As per the rental terms, one-way rentals abroad with our trucks/vans are not allowed.\n\nThe one-way fees will be included in your rental price calculation.\n\n# What happens if there is a traffic violation during the rental?\n\nThe lessee is unlimitedly liable, according to the general terms and conditions, for all costs and fees associated with traffic and regulatory offences. To ensure uniformity and ease of recall worldwide, they are categorized into vehicle classes based on the international ACRISS Code (Association of Car Rental Industry Systems Standards). This code includes various features such as size, equipment, and propulsion. As you book a vehicle class and not a specific model with SIXT, you can be sure that the necessary features such as air conditioning or automatic transmission, and characteristics such as convertible, 5-door, or similar, are taken into account when you book a vehicle.\n\n# Can an additional driver drive the rented corporate car?\n\nYou can add additional drivers who are at least 18 years old by presenting their driver's license when you pick up the rental car. If the additional driver cannot be present at pick-up, you can both go to any SIXT station nationwide to have them added to the contract. A copy can also be accessed for free.
