I had a good experience at Sixt in Ajaccio. My N26 Debit Mastercard was accpted (Europcar says they don't accept them for some reason).

Fast service. The tank wasn’t full but they filled it straight away when I asked. Also car was a bit dirty on the inside when we returned but they didn’t charge us extra as others have in the past. Not the cheapest, but fair and easy.

Very smooth rental experience, especially if you fill in the licence details etc. first. Polite and helpful, no queue. Only difficulty was finding the return depot - not at all well signposted by the airport, not really Sixt's fault.
