The city, located in northern Mexico is a historic city that attracts many tourists to come and visit. There are plenty of things to do within the city centre itself but there are also many attractions that lie outside the centre. Many people staying here choose to spend a day in Mexico City, the capital city, as it is just a 3 hour drive away. However. if you desire something closer the aquduct is just a shirt drive away. This Roman invention is quite remarkable as it does seem out of place, but it really is a little taste of Rome in Mexico. This is where car hire is useful as it can let you visit attractions outside the city centre.

Excellent excellent service. My family (with young children) has used Sixt for at least 10 years whenever we visit. I highly recommend this company for car rental- they are the best in Morelia. Sixt also has another location downtown in Morelia by the Cathedral.
