We had one of the best rental car experiences we've ever had renting from this Sixt this month. We were helped both with pick up and drop off by Gerry and we were so impressed by him -- he went above and beyond to help us. He was friendly and welcoming so we started asking him for recommendations on things to do and places to go and he was so generous with his time and knowledge. His love for the city bled through everything he said and he seemed to just really enjoy asking us about ourselves and coming up with ideas for things we would like. It felt much more like friends catching up than a customer service experience.
Then when we returned the car we were surprised to find Gerry out in the lot waiting for us! And he actually remembered us! He was excited to see us and wanted to hear all about our trip and how his recommendations worked out. It was pretty cool -- I was honestly shocked that he even recognized our faces, much less remembered our names and the things he had told us to do.
This was my first time renting from Sixt -- the only reason I did was because I happened to find a great price, we are typically loyal Hertz customers. But after the experience Gerry gave us we decided to rent from Sixt again on our next trip and if it's anything like this time we may stick with Sixt for all future travels.
Give this man a raise! Truly he single handedly won us over as potential lifetime Sixt customers.
