First time using Sixt, love the checkout process (easy) and return (also easy). BMW X5 was very nice. Price is reasonable. The only thing I want to point out is about the gas. I was told “if you are short for 5 miles from full, you would be charged”. I filled up the tank the night before, after driving to the airport (about 12-15 miles from where I stayed), I had to fill up again, for 5$ ish, one block from the rental building, but this is a waste of my time, and effort to find and fill again, and somehow I remember the full tank was 495 miles, and after I topped it off for 5.xx$, it was still showing 487 miles. So I was wondering what to do, and decided to take a picture of the receipt showing I filled it up before returning the car. My point is, for a luxury car rental company (meaning we are paying extra $ for a nicer car and experience), you guys should not “harass” us for “you can only be off 5 miles from full”. I rather just leave you some tips if needed than a hassle to find and fill up again, to make it closer to 495 miles…. Just a suggestion
