The Punta Corrente forest, also known as the Golden Cape, is a great destination for nature-lovers. It's easy to get to by car, but you'll need to park up on the outskirts of the park as the wooded area is only open to pedestrians and cyclists. It's a wonderful place to walk among the sun-dappled trees, and there are also spaces for climbing and other outdoor activities. There are beaches too, with caves for rock pooling that kids will love.
Croatia is famed for its crystal-clear blue waters, and the coastline around Rovinj is no exception. Mulini Beach lies just south of the town, only a few minutes' drive from the hubbub and noise and provides a tranquil spot to unwind. Further down the beach there's also a beach bar for refreshments, helping you take the edge off that summer heat.
Business Destinations
There isn't a huge amount of industry in Rovinj as it is known as a touristic town, however business travellers may need to visit the nearby Uljanik shipyard. It's the hub of the shipbuilding industry in Croatia and just a short drive from the Rovinj's nearest airport in Pula.
The Days of Communication festival has been held at the Hotel Lone in Rovinj for several years. This three day long symposium offers the opportunity for tech leaders from around the world to meet and discuss marketing and communications, with speakers such as Chuck Porter attending to give various talks and workshops. It provides lots of great networking opportunities, and the Hotel Lone is a great backdrop. Plus, it's on the right side of the town when you're driving from Pula Airport.
Had a very pleasant experience here. Prices are higher currently than they used to be due to the vehicle shortages everywhere, yet the received car (Peugeot 2008) was in a great condition with no damages at all. Interior was as expected in a compact class vehicle.
The service was great, the staff very friendly. Extended the rental by a day via phone, which worked without any trouble. Would highly recommend renting here!
