Your way to SIXT/Shuttle Service

Welcome to Tenerife South! When leaving the baggage claim area, go outside the terminal and turn left. Go straight on until you find the blue bus stop, number E07 (approximately 300 meters). Our shuttle bus will pick you up here and departs every 20 minutes. It takes only 5 minutes from the airport to the SIXT branch, which is 2,3 km away.

Return information

From the TF-1 motorway, take exit 59 (towards Casablanca). If you are coming from the South (Adeje/Arona): keep left and after crossing the bridge, take the first exit on the left. If you are coming from the North (Santa Cruz): take the first exit on the right. Before reaching the petrol station take the turning to the right. About 450 metres further on, on the left side, you will find the access to SIXT. Once you have returned your car, our shuttle will take you back to the airport. It's only a quick 5-minute drive.

Where do I return my car at Tenerife South Airport?

While you will pick up your keys inside the airport terminal, you'll need to go to the rental car parking in order to return your hire car at Tenerife South Airport. Once you arrive at the airport follow the signs for parking. You'll first pass the public car park before reaching the rental car parking with designated SIXT spaces. We offer 24-hour returns if you arrive outside of opening hours. Simply drop the keys off in the orange box in front of our office.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

How old do I need to be to hire a car?

You'll need to be at least 23 years old and have held your licence for at least 3 years to rent a car in Tenerife.

To rent a car with SIXT at Tenerife South Airport you need to be at least 18 with a valid license. Some car categories have a higher minimum rental age, and an underage driver fee may apply.
