By car
Drive onto motorway B2R (Mittlerer Ring) until you reach the crossing at Berg-am-Laim Straße. Turn left and after another 200m left again into Friedenstraße until you reach the corner Friedenstraße / Haager Straße. There you see the building on the corner with SIXT signage outside. The entrance is from Haager Straße.
With public transportation
You can reach Munich East Train Station with the Underground line U5 as well as with all the street trains (S-Bahn) except line S20. From the train station Munich East follow the signs to the exit Friedenstraße. When leavin the train station you directly walk towards the building at the crossing Friedenstraße / Haager Straße, where you already see the SIXT signage outside. The entrance to the branch is on the right side at Haager Straße.
Return information
The entrance to the underground car park is located approximately 15 meters to the right of the SIXT branch.
The roller shutter is open daily from 07:00 to 19:00. Outside of these hours, please use the black column between the entrance and exit, which you can conveniently reach from your vehicle: Use the arrow buttons to select "SIXT" (press down twice) and confirm with "OK". After a brief wait, the roller shutter will open automatically.
After entering, drive up to the barrier and use the second box with the touch display. Select "2 - SIXT" there, and the barrier will open.
Then follow the signs for "SIXT Return". Drive straight ahead to the ramp on the left side and continue down to the 2nd basement level. At the end of the ramp, turn around and then drive straight towards the large, orange entry gates marked with the SIXT logo. The return rows are located there.
Park the vehicle in one of the designated SIXT parking spaces (black posts with parking space numbers and the SIXT logo).
Please remove all personal belongings and lock the vehicle.
Key drop-off:
Return safe on the 2nd basement level (first row, orange, with SIXT logo), or
Return safe to the left of the branch entrance (above ground)
Important: Exit the underground car park exclusively via the same ramp, as other exits can only be used with access cards.
Vehicle returns are possible 24 hours a day.
