We rented a compact car for 10 days in Iceland. Upon arriving we were offered an upgrade to a Jeep Compass for an extremely reasonable rate, plus a second driver added. The individual working at the front desk (unfortunately I do not have his name) was professional, kind, answered our questions, and gave helpful tips about the area and driving around the country. The car was a hybrid but due to our route and lodging options we only charged it once, using petrol the rest of the time. The 4x4 capabilities were helpful during some of the ice passages and the car was comfortable to ride in. Our flight was canceled and we needed to extend the rental by one day, which was no problem. When we checked in the car Grzegorz assisted us and even shuttled us back to the airport. Exceptional service and we appreciated the kindness showed.

I regularly rent cars via Sixt and never had any issues. Most recently I booked a 4x4 car in Iceland and everything was flawless. Pickup and return was quick, great customer service and support throughout the rental period. At the end also received a complementary ride to the terminal. Recommend! P.S. if you rent during winter ask for a snow shovel and a sandbag.
