Your way to SIXT

You will receive your rental car at the SIXT branch, which is located in the terminal. To find the branch from the arrival area please just go straight on in direction to the exit. After 30 meters you will see it on the left side, we are the third desk

By car

Take exit for "Casalecchio", which will lead you directly to the main ring road going in direction "Ancona-San Lazzaro". Then take exit 4. From Milano, follow the A1 and take the exit Bologna Borgo Panigale. If you are travelling on the A13 from Padova, then take the exit Bologna Arcoveggio. If you are coming from Ancona over the A14 highway, use the exit Bologna San Lazzaro. From all directions you will pass a big roundabout, which you have to exit in direction to the airport.

With public transport

If you are travelling by train, you have to take the bus "BLQ" from the central station, which will bring you directly to the airport. Some big cities, like for example Florence, have direct bus connections from airport to airport.

Exit the terminal, turn left and follow directions to P3 parking. You will find our staff in our parking facility.

Return information

Navigate to our SIXT branch at Via del Triumvirato 84, 40132 Bologna. Once you arrive at the airport, follow the "Rental car return" signs. Take the first right toward "Car rental" and then immediately turn left toward "Car rental parking". Continue driving to the end of the parking area and make a right. After passing the second speed bump, you will find the entrance to the car rental parking on your left. Enter, following the SIXT signs to the right, where you will see our return area. A SIXT agent will be there to collect your key and assist with your return. For returns outside of our business hours, please check that you have all your belongings, lock the vehicle, and place the key in our orange SIXT key drop box at the check-in cabin.
