We rented a luxury SUV for 14 days and we got a brand new 2022 BMW X3 with 11 miles. Couldn't ask for more!

 

The staff inside the branch was friendly and explained about insurance options and add ons they offer. I'll probably keep SIXT as one of my favorite car rentals in the US and Europe.

When I arrived at Dulles International there was no car in the category that I reserved. Normally this would be fine as the upgrade has been complimentary based on my extensive experience renting cars. Unfortunately, in this case the person working the desk said they best they could do was a $260 upcharge on an initial rental fee of $285. They offered me the branch manager's contact information to try to rectify the issue at a later date. I decided to return my car early on the day of my departure to save money on the rental. I met with Matt Schwartz (Branch Manager) and he said he would file a complaint and get me resolution within 48 hours.

 

The situation was taken care of and I was refunded. I missed the refund on my statement and Sixt corporate customer service pointed me in the right direction to see the information very quickly. The desk personnel were pleasant and Matt was able to help me out! Great work fixing a situation that was not ideal! 5 Stars.
